J. Armand Bombardier Foundation
This foundation's mission is to support young, up-and-coming Quebec artists to achieve their full potential. Each year, the foundation gives out scholarships to artists who have stood out through their work.
The mandate
In 2019, the winner of the main award was Maude Corriveau, an artist who designs hyperrealistic works. In addition to the scholarship, the foundation offers the winning artist an exhibition of her most recent work, as well as the deployment of a communication strategy. One of these strategic communication tools was the creation of the artist's video portrait.
Her Own Process
Our approach was centered on Maude, i.e., capturing her at ease in her studio and in her environment as she explains to us her creative process.
Light
Maude's work is based on the reflection of light through innocuous objects, an important element in the creation of her work. We therefore paid extra attention when documenting this pivotal stage in the creation of her drawings.
